Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer international shipping to many countries. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on the destination. During checkout, you will be able to see the available shipping options and costs for your location.

Are the devices from Japan compatible with 220V?

Most lab equipment is designed for use in multiple countries, so many models are compatible. However, if the equipment is not compatible with the voltage in your country, we recommend using a voltage converter that matches the voltage requirements of your country.

Why do "Ending Soon" items have a set end date for sales?

Some sellers choose to sell their items to affiliated companies after a certain period. As a result, "Ending Soon" items are only available until their set deadline. We appreciate your understanding.

Japanese used equipment is considered to be in excellent condition worldwide, largely due to a culture that values taking good care of items. Additionally, some of these items can be more than 90% cheaper than purchasing new ones while still being fully operational.

Purchasing and Payment

How can I purchase a product?

To purchase a product, click the "Send Offer" button on the product page and propose your price. If your offer is accepted, you will be able to buy the product.

What payment methods are available?

We accept major payment methods, including credit cards and bank transfers.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes, if you prefer, you can pay via Wise. In that case, we will offer a discount equivalent to the credit card processing fee, so please contact us.

Can you hold a product for me since I plan to purchase it next week?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee holding any products as many are also sold in Japan, and rare items often sell within three days.

I am a first-time buyer; can I purchase here?

We apologize, but first-time buyers cannot purchase directly from this site as it is a members-only exclusive platform. However, if you wish, we can list the product on eBay for you to make an offer.

What is the difference between purchasing here and through eBay?

Purchases on our platform are for members only. When buying through eBay, we add the eBay fee (about 20-30% of the product price). The advantage of eBay is that returns are possible. Our platform primarily facilitates transactions between sellers and buyers, so returns are not accepted. However, eBay allows returns if you bear the shipping and return shipping costs.

I submitted an offer that was accepted, but I couldn't complete the purchase.

We apologize; this may be due to over 24 hours passing before payment was made. Until payment is completed, the product is not reserved, so it may have sold to another buyer. Please try to complete the purchase promptly next time after your offer is accepted.

Returns and Refunds

Do you accept returns?

As our platform matches sellers' products with buyers, we do not accept returns. Please read the product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you are concerned, we can also list the product on eBay, which offers buyer protection and accepts returns. However, in that case, you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs, and the eBay fees will be added to the sale price.

What should I do if the product arrives damaged?

We frequently ship internationally, and damage reports are rare because we take great care to pack items securely. However, in the unlikely event that there is damage to the received product, please contact us within three days of receipt. We will proceed with partial refunds as appropriate to the situation.

Shipping

Can you ship to my country?

We can ship worldwide via FedEx. However, some countries, like Indonesia, prohibit importing used equipment. If you have a license to import, it may be possible. In addition, China has strict regulations, and shipments may be held at customs and returned; we recommend delivery to surrounding areas such as Hong Kong in such cases.

How long does it take for the product to arrive?

Preparing for export permits can take at least one week. For pallet shipping, it may take a bit longer as we need to create custom pallets for the product and perform sterilization. Delivery by FedEx should not take much time once shipped.

Can you ship directly to my client?

Yes, we can. However, if the purchaser and recipient differ, an additional processing fee of 30,000 yen will apply. Please ensure the recipient handles the import procedures correctly. Additional shipping costs will be required in case of re-shipment due to incomplete documents by the importer.

Can you use my contracted forwarder for shipping?

Generally, we do not accept this request. We need to handle export procedures and provide proof of export, so you must use our shipping method. We appreciate your understanding.

How much is the shipping cost?

There are two patterns based on the volumetric weight of the product. The regular shipping fee is 60,000 yen, and pallet shipping is 180,000 yen, with the same rate worldwide.

Can you undervalue the product to lower import duties?

We apologize, but we comply with all legal regulations and cannot accommodate such requests. We aim to conduct business safely and responsibly over the long term. If you choose to work with a business that agrees to such requests, please be cautious, as they may not be conducting legitimate business.

Customs Policy

Who is responsible for customs clearance and fees?

The buyer is solely responsible for handling customs clearance and any associated fees in their country. Please ensure all necessary documentation and information are provided to your customs office to avoid delays or returns.

What happens if my package is returned due to customs clearance issues?

If your package is returned to us due to customs clearance issues, the following policies will apply:


The return shipping cost must be covered by the recipient.
If the recipient does not cover the return shipping cost, we reserve the right to sell the item to recover the expenses incurred.
If you wish to have the package re-sent, you will need to pay the additional shipping cost.
By completing the payment, you agree to these terms, including accepting responsibility for any return shipping costs incurred due to customs clearance issues.

Can you assist with customs clearance?

Unfortunately, we cannot assist with customs clearance or provide specific advice on customs regulations in your country. We recommend consulting your local customs office for guidance.

What happens if I refuse to clear customs or pay customs fees?

If the package is returned to us due to a refusal to clear customs or pay customs fees, the return shipping cost will be deducted from any potential refund. If you prefer, we can re-send the package once you cover the additional shipping cost.

Why can you offer these products at such low prices?

Our company, like many of our sellers, purchases large quantities of products on a regular basis. By buying in bulk, both we and our sellers are able to acquire high-quality used items at lower prices, which allows us to pass these savings on to our customers and offer better prices than other companies.

I submitted several offers, but now I cannot submit any more. Why is that?

We only accept offers at amounts the seller agrees upon. Each buyer has four chances to submit an offer. If you can no longer submit an offer, it means your desired amount did not result in a sale. We appreciate your understanding.

Can you disclose the minimum offer price?

We do not disclose this information, as revealing it would result in offers only at that price. To avoid keeping items in stock for too long, the minimum offer price is set slightly below cost for many products, but selling at that price does not yield a profit. Sellers prefer to sell to those who are willing to pay a little more.

I saw a product yesterday, but today the page is gone. Is it sold out?

Yes, it is likely sold out. Many of our products are also sold in Japanese stores or marketplaces. Even items without a listed end time can suddenly disappear. Popular products sell quickly, even at high prices, so we recommend sending an offer as soon as possible.

Do you buy any equipment?

We mainly buy Japanese brands such as Shimadzu, Keyence, and Horiba. However, we do not buy every model. If you have items for sale, please fill out the information in the quote form and send it to us.

Who are the sellers on your site?

Most sellers are companies engaged in the buyback business in Japan. Some rare items are sold by individuals. They mainly source items no longer used in laboratories or from companies that have gone out of business. However, selling lab equipment often requires specialized knowledge, so sellers may not be fully familiar with all items. Please understand this point.

Can I contact the seller directly?

A: Sellers typically target Japanese customers only and do not have a department for handling international sales. Therefore, all international sales are handled by us, and we assist with expanding their market reach. If you have additional questions, we can relay them on your behalf.
